Hey again,

Today, I'm inspiring myself and maybe one or two of you as well.  I made it to TEN years cancer free today with Stage III.

Very few long term effects and although I won't say that I am cured, it simply feels outstanding to get HERE.

Cancer is not a death sentence and I was diagnosed when my son was only a few months old.  He's turning 11 soon.

    WOOHOO!

Gabby, you continue to inspire me.  I can remember you posting your 8 year anniversary not long after I had finished treatment and was fairly new to the site.  I remember being in awe and relieved that someone was here and doing well 8 years later.  And now you're at 10!  I am so HAPPY for you and all the rest of the survivors.

May you enjoy many more good years!

Wonderful news!  Thank you for sharing.  I celebrated 7 years from anal in June and 5 years from lung last September.  I wish you well, Lori

    Gabby!

Hey there!  Congratulations!  Woohoo!  You are SO awesome!  Of all the people on this site, I have probably known you the longest and I can't tell you how many times I have thought of you and wondered how you were doing.  I am so, so glad you shared the news of reaching this huge milestone with all of us!  I am so happy to hear you are doing well with few side effects, enjoying life and that your son is doing well.

I will hit the 8-year mark on September 9th., so I may not be right on your heels, but I'm not that far behind.  I am dealing with some issues, but so far, I have handled everything relatively well.  I am so inspired by you and I know that will help me reach the 10-year mark too!  Thanks for coming back here!  Now, go throw yourself a big party and celebrate!  Hugs!
