Going go my doctor soon but questions

I have had flank pain for over a year, it's always been bilateral and never hurt at the same time. It can be dull and sometimes sharp. I also will get low back pain that comes and goes on both sides of the low back. Sometimes it also goes to upper back, also the joints in my arms, hands legs. I had an ultrasound done to see if there was anything fishy looking weather it be stones or maybe a mass and nothing showed up (last may 2015). Eventually the pains went away but would come back at random. For about a month these have come back but I notice my joints seem to get shooting pain mode often, esp the legs loud the quads, knees, ankle, feet. Happen to both legs at different times. Also the flank pain again is bilateral and goes at different times. Is this a symptom of late stage cancer? I am in my 20s and workout but all this stArted happening while taking a 2 week off from lifting. I keep thinking about it and looking up symptoms and it all comes too cancer.

Again I am setting up my doctors appointment for later this week but going into it I'm scared again like I was last year.

    lupus?

Your symptoms sound more like Lupus than cancer.  Lupus is autoimmune disorder that can cause pain in the joints.  People with Lupus have flares.  When you are in a flare you can have pain in your joints.

The fact that you had a negative ultrasound is very good sign that you don't have cancer.

Could be one of many things

    Trx450,

Does it sound like Kidney Cancer (I do not know about any of the others)? Not really. You had a negative Ultrasound last year and are only 29. Lets hope the doctors figure it out and it is nothing major.

The thing is I've had these

The thing is I've had these flank pains on both sides for over a year and they come and go. It's Just lately they seem to be acting up more. Could it be muscle skeletal? Or a mass just growing fast?

    Don't think so

A mass usually does not grow they fast.  I had a small 2cm and he said it could have been in there a couple of years.  The symptoms you are describing do not sound like cancer.  Most kidney cancers don't show symptoms unless it's peeing blood.  Do you suffer from anxiety at all?  Just asking because I do and know exactly how my mind thinks!  Please keep us updated, but I would not lose sleep over thinking you have kidney cancer.  Just my 2 cents.

It could be something as simple as...

The pains you're describing could be something as simple as sitting in the wrong chair with poor posture, not using good form when lifting weights, not wearing the correct shoes, and/or needing to rehydrate after working out possibly combined with some inflammation due to diet, overuse, and/or stress.

It's always a good idea to connect with a primary care physician that you like and go for a check-up (If you're otherwise healthy, think of it more as a tune-up) once a year.  Many practices have personal electronic medical record websites set up for patients so you can contact your physician via their emails. If you find someone in a practice like that, you wouldn't have to work yourself into a state but could just ask the doc directly.

It does not sound like end-stage anything, but your physician is the one you should be asking.  If you google enough symptoms, you could self-diagnose yourself with half a dozen tropical diseases (none of which you end up having).  Maybe take a vacation from consulting "Dr. Google" in the meantime?

Very much do..I can look up

Very much do..I can look up symptoms and they will magically appear and I can physically feel them. As a kid I always had a very real fear of getting cancer and it never changed as an adult.

    I'm sorry...

im so sorry for your anxiety.  Feel free to email me anytime angie.block@att.net.  Crazy thing...I am 38, now had cancer twice, and have had anxiety for as long as I can remember.  As a kid I remember sitting in our driveway crying and telling my mom I had prostate cancer.  Lol so funny...prostate cancer from a girl.  Now I can laugh about it, but I was just like you.  I actually had my very first appointment today with a counselor that specializes in anxiety and people who have anxiety from health issues.  I can tell you that the stress you are adding from anxiety is just hurting your body worse.  Call you doctor and get a full blood work Check up, and see if you can get a full cat scan.  You need to put your mind at ease.

That's the plan, can't get in

That's the plan, can't get in for almost two weeks! I just don't know. I'd think if it was cancer and having this flank issue for over a year I'd def be feeling worse by now maybe losing weight. Ya anxiety is no joke..I can literally read something and that part of my body will hurt
