This is pretty awful.  Mets to bones and breast again Am in absolute agony for most of the day I am now sleeping 20+ hours a day to avaoid the pain and other side effects (dizzy, nausea, confusion etc}  I am on xeloda 2weeks on one week off, pemidronate every 3 weeks.  Also taking shed loads of pain killers which are not even touching the pain (hydromorphone, hydromorphcontin, morphine, advil)  Nothing helps except sleep.  Any suggestions?

    So sorry

Tasha,  I am so sorry you are dealing with all of this.  It sounds truly horrible.  I don't have any suggestions, I just wanted to send some well wishes your way.  I can't imagine that that gives you much comfort, but I am hopeful it does.

    Xoxo,

    Clementine

    Tasha

I think you are an amazing lady to take the time to update us with all you are going through. It sounds like your doctors have given you some very strong meds so I really don't have any suggestions. Maybe listen to music you love? I feel so powerless to help you, but I sure wish I could. Thinking of you, Anna

    Pain pump

See Camul's post about getting a pain pump.  I'm so sorry to read that you're in so much pain.  Wish I could make it better for you.

So sorry you are in so much pain

Tasha, I cannot say I know what you are going through because I have never been in the kind of pain you are describing that is really that bad. Suzanne had a good suggestion about a pain pump. Ask your ONC about one. Anyone that is in so much pain as you should not have to suffer the way you are with all the ways to fight pain theses days. My dad is now trying to get a pain pump because he has had 7 surgeries on his back. My heart is going out to you right now because of what you are going through. Hope pain gets beter soon. Let us know how you are doing.  HUGS,  Pixie Dust

    Sending good thoughts

This sounds truly awful. I wish there is something to say or do for you, something other than letting you know I'm thinking of you and sending good thoughts and energy your way.

    Tash -

Sounds so miserable - I am deeply sorry.

As suggested above- maybe a pain pump help with your ongoing - non stopping pain.

Hoping, as well as fingers crossed that some type of pain management comes to you quickly.

    gentle hugs,

    Vicki Sam
