    Hi,

I believe you are referring to HIPEC surgery, am I correct?   If so, yes, I have knowledge of that operation.

    Immunity

What can be expected? What kind of hit does the immune system take?

  • Benefit of "Hot Chemo
The main benefit of "Hot Chemo" is the more drug penetration into the tumor at higher temperature, and, being local and transient, it has much reduced side effects.
There are few studies on activation of the immune system to temperature-induced changes made to the tumor cells, but nothing very conclusive.
    Hope that helps.
