in Ovarian Cancer #1

My Doctor's office called. I am BRCA negative!!!  Yeah!  So thankful for my daughter and sister.  As well as ny future granddaughters.

    Hi Carla - mine was negative. too. & I felt the same rielief :  1  sis 2 daughters & 2 granddaughters.

    Braca Negative

    I was also very concerend for my daughters and granddaughters and was relieved to be negative as well. I have in the back of my mind that perhaps there is another mutation out there not yet discovered so they do need to be vigilant about their health.

    i wish they would do a study on all us " negative " girls it seems like there are too many of us to be just bad luck.

    Update

    just an update to my braca testing , I have been found to be negative and feel great relief for myself sisters and  nieces , they have asked to continue testing my tumour samples and DNA ect as they believe there could be more mutations to be discovered. I'm off for more surgery to remove some small residual tissue found after Avastin has finished (9months) . I'm hoping then to be ned and get a break as been in some sort of treatment since diagnosis april 2014. Best wishes all jue xx
