Double posts - Edit - Delete - Question for the admins

I am grateful for the forum admins who come around and clean up the double post, and anything else that needs doing (though this is a really wonderful, polite site, so no nasty posts as I've found on other forums).

I know when I double post I can't delete it, but I can remove the text and add an apology or smiley, but is it OK to flag it for you admins? To flag anyone elses double post?

One day, will there be a delete option for us to remove our own post?

    Hello Sue,

Thanks for your post. We are working on having the "delete" option for you to delete your double posts, but we do not have a timeline on that yet. You do not need to flag double posts, as we will find them, and may have to leave them, if there has been a response to the double post. The reason for this, is because the comment or response to the double post would be deleted as well. Thanks for your question and support on the boards.

    Best regards,

    Thank you for your reply...

and so prompt as well. We really appreciate the behind-the-scenes work you all do kiss and thank you smiley .

I will wait patiently for the delete button. Until then, I know if we don't hit the back button, the double post would not happen, so I will try to do my part.

While I have your attention. I hope there is no problem with my adding smileys to posts. I hope they don't take up space (sorry, I don't know the technical word).
