"We've had a miracle today. Eileen woke up, was able to use her phone, and started discussing her medical treatment. I don't know what to think except either the chemo is starting to work or she starved her cancer. She has been off narcotics which is not the direction that end of life cancer patients go- they are usually on more medications and not less. I am cautiously optimistic she might make it to chemo next week."

    Amazing women is the only thing I can say.  Have been a member since 2010, Thanks to all for all the help and guidiness and love I have gotten as a silent member, don't say much, but can't help but comment on this amazing women.  Miracles happen.  Love you all!

    Laughing as I read this.
    With her strong personality, belief and strictness in adherance to her tratment, cant say I am surprised to see her not go down without a fight. Who knows what will come next? Happy day and so much hope that it will conti ue. For goodness sakes, thus is the nurse practicioner who was still working while going thru treatments, and when she wasnt takking care of her preemies, (laughing), she was taking care of all of us! I will continue to HOPE and PRAY that this takes her and her family thru the New Year!.Hugs CC.
