stage 4 adenocarcinoma - found out 3 hours ago about my sister-in-law.

My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer 13 years ago and had a lumpectomy and chemo. Everything went well. 4 years later, she was diagnosed with breast cancer in the same breast and elected for a mastectomy and chemo. Constant check-ups. everything seemed fine. a couple of months ago she started complaining of mild erratic pain in her upper stomach area. they thought it was gerd. Nothing to raise any red flags about. After a MRI and then a Petscan, we find out today it is stage 4 adenocarcinoma on the fundus of her stomach that has spread into lymph nodes. liver, and peritoneum. Inoperable. Nothing has been said about any type of a time frame or anything of the sort yet. They do want to try chemo, she has not decided on which kind yet. But she has told the docs that she wanted to wait until after Thanksgiving to start it.

Anyone have any experience that relates to this?
