in Uterine/Endometrial Cancer #1

Has anyone heard about the "new" type of curcumin that is mixed withthe perine and is "ten Times stronger"  It's called Curcumin2K.  Only 2 a day 60 pills for less than 20.00. "FDA" and "Pharmalsical grade "approved.  Just curious!  Debrajo

    Hi, Debrajo,

    i don't know about curcumin2K, but I think I read somewhere that curcumin is taken to fight cancer. Can you tell me more about it? I am willing to try anything within reason to prevent a recurrence. I exercise regularly, eat lots of vegetables and fruit and I reduced my sugar intake.

    Hi Cathy,  I was reading yesterday about food for cancer and it mention that curcumin was found to be one of the ingredients in the spice Turmeric.  The reason I remember this is because I was looking for foods and spices that are good for fighting cancer in my diet. hope that helps.  Take care and feel good!!!!

    I do not know about the Cucurmin2X.  I do take Biocucurmin from Life Extension.  I buy it from Amazon.  It was about $20 for 60 pills,  I do not know if taking it has made my CA-125 rise more slowly.  I do not want to change from taking it.  I don't think I will be able to take it when I go back on chemo.   Good luck in finding information on it.

    Thanks all!  I have been taking the curcumin for about three years now along with the  black pepper to help absolve the spice, and like Ro, I think it helps the ammuine system and will not stop taking it.  My onc is quite pleased that I do take it.  The Curcumin2K is supposed to be a new brand  that is stronger then the Life Extend brand I take now.  This new stuff is supposed to deliver twice the dose, a dose this concentrate you could not eat safely in a day.  As with any "New and Improved" things that comes down the pike, I am a little leary of trying!  If it isn't broke, don't try to fix it...just wanted to get your uptake on it and if anyone has tryed it.  I truly believe this helps stay healthy, but the Life Extend brand has less filler and is a very trust-worthy brand.  Debrajo

    How much of this cucurmin do you take daily?  I think I will look for it to take myself.  Ro, I wish you the very best on the 18th.  You and Helen have been in my thoughts and I just hope the cyberknife works well for both of you.

    I take the Super Bio-cucurmin.  It has 400 mg.  I take one capsule daily.   I take it with food or it makes me nauseous.  If you read on Life Extension's page on the bio cucurmin it will list the benefits of it.  I buy it on Amazon though.  You need to pay a membership to Life Extension,and the pills were more expensive.  

    It says you should not take it if you have gallbladder problems or gallstones.

    Hey

    I take the same kind as Ro, but I take 800mg a day, two capsuls a day WITH food.  The verdict is still out on how much is really  therapudic.   Studys now say 1200 mg, but they are still doing  .research.  So, for now I'll stick with the 800.  Debrajo
