Good news. My mom's biopsy came back negative on the tumor for cancer but a-typical cells on the brushing. The bleeding was from a vein that the tumor is rubbing. Doctor says tumor needs to come out because it is blocking airway and the vein could rupture. He is talking with a surgeon. 1/3 of her lung will be removed. They will first test her heart and breathing to make sure she will survive the surgery. Thanks for the prayers. They are working.

Great news that it isn't cancer, but sad to hear she will still surgery.   At her age, it will be hard.  I remember my mother having by-pass surgery at 81.  She was very upbeat about the surgery and never complained about pain after her surgery.

    No Cancer .. fantastic.

    Debbie,

Not sure how old your Mom is but my Mama had 1/3 of her lung removed at age 73. Along with the lymph nodes and she is still going strong and back to work sewing. So I am sending prayers your Mom will pull through and be okay soon. Remember miracles happen every day!.. Kritter

Yes indeed!! My sisters and I

Yes indeed!! My sisters and I were high fiving and cheering. I know the people in the waiting room thought we were partying. The first words I said were, "Thank you God."
