The only hernia the scans indicted prior to surgery was a small hiatial hernia. When the surgeon went to take out the stent bypass put in after surgery, the experience was 5X worse than being catheterized. I really tensed up and nearly passed out. Returnning to work and walking 3-5 miles a day we thought the original kidney stone had not passed and I had a second CT scan on 08/04/14. The Doctors nurse called a couple of days later and said no stone but the scan shows an inguinal hernia. Any one. Else have this experience? Fortunately or unfortunately we know a great surgeon at Emory who performed three surgeries on my wife. Consult is later this month. Thanks, Rangerk
