Off of the fan!

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

Long day but good results.  MRI at 11, Doctor at 1.  Doctor likes what he saw.  Tumor is still shrinking.  He showed me the comparison of previous scan and todays.  Another doctor at 4.  The chunck that came out of my upper gum area looks like shrinkage.  The area is 'communicating' with the sinus area.  I don't know weather to take away the cell phone of give it a time out.  I was going to get a prescription that would help with the healing but a flag came up, I am allergic to some of the ingredients.  Looks like I will be taking the 'dives' when I return from visiting my daughter and family.  Found out why the denial--because I have lung cancer that I didn't get any treatment for!  I do not have lung cancer.  The doctor that had the peer to peer with the insurance rep questioned the fact that the person had an MD behind their name.  Good to know that the team has my back.

    All rightie then, we're feet on the ground for a while (damn ceiling fan makes me dizzy!). 

    Where in the hell did they get the incredible misinformation from??  Somebody do a typo on the code?

    Wow what a roller costar ride but you are on the right path now. Good to hear that the tumor is shrinking and you are doing well. Spend as much time as you can with family and friends who support you and life you up. On the insurance people that sounds about right just glad your Doc is on top of it helping you. I was having a lot of problems with my insurance but while talking to one lady found out she was a Christian and now we communicate back and forth and she is always checking up on me. I do believe God puts special people in our way to help us through the walk of life. God bless and be with you

    Bev, i'm celebrating for you right now.  so glad you got good news that the tumor is shrinking.  i hope your 4:00 goes well also.  so happy that you are finally off the fan and your head can slow down!  that is not a good ride....lol.  ok, deep breath and a little happy dance.  glad you got good news so you can really enjoy your visit with your family.
