Friends,

it has been awhile and have just been really busy with work and the kids being summer and all. It's been fifteen months since finished treatment and just had my quarterly visit to MDA Houston. All clear and the doc said no need to see me again till Jan! Very please with progress and everything looks great! Still a bit of dry mouth especially at night but able to eat anything I want (just a little slower then before) and taste is slowly returning. There is life after treatment and if you are just starting the journey -- one foot in front of the other and one day at a time. Heading to Florida and North Carolina for family vacation and will be running my fourth 5k in six months! Blessing to all!

Long time no talk :).  Glad to hear you're doing well.....Yup, some parts of this recovery are slow....but I can tell there is still improvement even more than a year out.
