Hey was just wondering if there is a difference between scar tissue or calification . was wondering because I had a Vats surgery to remove a lung nodule that showed no signs of calification, it was was oval and smooth. it was 8.7 mm, once I had the surgery the path report came back 4mm lymph node and when asked about the difference in size the path DR said that the lymph node was surrounded by scar tissue that was why it looked bigger on the CT scan. No sign of cancer. So I was wondering if scar tissue shows up as calification or is there a difference? ANY ONE OUT THERE KNOW FOR SURE? tHANKS IN ADVANCE!!!! HUGS TO EVERY ONE |

yep...
Yep clean margins, so and what they took was not cancer either so was wondering why if scar tissue and calification were two different things or not?
