any onr else noticed this with gabapentin?  I read it could be a side effect -cbut you  never what drug is causing it

I'm on 1200 mg/day 400 3 times a day

I was talking to a breast cancer survivor a few days ago while visiting at the smalll hospital where I last had tx & got onto neuropathy - she switched to Lyrica froim Gaba & said it was her best friend & worked great for her.

just;looking for some experienced opinions

I was on the same as you

same dosage and times...made me very dizzy and tired. I just asked my Dr. about nonpharmasutical tx...told me to to Capasation cream ..used for joint pain..I am on day three...helps some...use gloves and wear socks to bed. My ankles are a little swollen but never had water retention as far as I know. Yup neuropathy sucks..when you can't feel your feet..burning..pain. Hope you find some relief soon....stay strong...val

I have been on this for years for nerve pain from a bad back. It has never caused swollen ankles for me but make sure you let your doctor know.
