Missed you guys

Hi,

 

I am sorry I have not been around a lot.  Just trying to adjust to losing both dad and mom this past year.  Me and my kitties have been getting alon pretty good.  Spot Cat is dealing with some UTI problems.  I have had some changes in my life and may have more.

 

I am seeing a new guy that is sweet and kind.  He have known each other for 9 years, but things sort of just happened.

I have made a wonderful new friend, she and mom were friends and we have gotten to be inseperable since mom died

The biggest change could be with my job and this is were I need your prayers.  I have applied to be a correctional officer at our regional jail.  This is a big change from my job as an office assistant.  I have had the interview and waiting to here if I move to the next stage.  I will keep you updated.  This is something I have always wanted.

 

As always my prayers are with all of you.  I could not have made it through the last three years as normal as I am (HaHa) without all of you.

    It has been a tough year for you; it is nice to know there are some bright spots for you.

    As for the new job, wow, what a change.  I have seen enough of the “Cops”& “Jail” episodes to know the one common thread they all have is the love of the job.  I hope it all works out for you.

    My wife and I lost our cat of 17 years (she is in my avatar) and are working to welcome a new purr-fect kitty.

    Matt, i'm so sorry you lost your cat and friend of so many years.  I hope the pain of your loss gets better with time.  welcoming a new kitty may help ease the pain a little.  wishing you the best.  if you get a new kitty, please post pictures and the name.  take care friend.

    kathy, you've really had a rough and sorrowful time of late.  It is wonderful that you've made such a good friend with your mom's friends.  i hope the memories you both have will help ease the pain from your loss.

    you are really making a big change on your job!!  i'd be so scared, i definitely give you credit for going for it.  let us know when you find out as we'll be waiting to hear. 

    very glad your new guy is sweet.  the best realtionships come from being friends first so this could really turn out to be something big, i hope so.  you will have to keep us posted....lol.

    I'm glad you stoped by to let us know how you're doing.  It is a good thing that you realize you are abi-normal like the rest of us, I hope you have forwarned your new guy....lol.  take care and i look forward to your next posts.

    Kathy, Good to hear from you. Talk about job change, but if you have always wanted to do that job, go for it. As you know life is short and could end anytime. Keep in touch. Praying all works out for you.
