Oregano Oil

Hi Guys , I know I don't post much anymore but I still come here often to see how everyone is doing and see if there is anything I can add to help some of the new comers . I am feeling great just only bothered with dry mouth and throat and not much taste . Still having to fight to not lose anymore weight . My question is : has anyone tried applying Oregano Oil to skin on your neck to help with dry mouth and throat . I tried it for the first time this morning and it is itching and I don't know if I am going to be able to a stand the smell!!!! If anyone has tried it and thinks it helped I will keep trying ! Lol

    Hello Peggy !

I use different oils at home.  Mostly for migraines or aches and pains.  I have never used the oregano though.  Boy, if it's itching please be careful that you're not reacting to it.  My sister makes a bunch of cremes w/the oils in it for me.  My favorite for the headaches is peppermint oil.  I also use the real peppermints for the dry mouth issues.  (candies)  Let us know if this works.  Hugs sent !  Katie

Sorry, no experience with oils here. Hoping you find relief from the lingering side effects.

    Oregano Oil

Thanks girls . Between the itching and the smell I don't think that I am going to apply it to my skin . I May try it orally .

    oregano oil

Oregano oil can be quite strong especially on sensitive skin
and be irritating. Try putting it on with a carrier oil such
as olive or coconut oil and that may get rid of the itchy irritation.

    Hi Peggy

Yes I use it for all kinds of things, but you need to cut it with pure virgin coconut oil don’t try to use it full strength.  I make one oz coconut oil to 5 to 10 drops of Oregano oil, make it what works best for you.

    Hope this helps
