AdrimIdex migraines

Hi,  Im three years +a few months fromdiagnosis of stage 2a bC, e+, p-, her2 -.  After chemo and bilateral mastectomy I was on tamoxafin  For two years.  Was switched to arimidex in march.  In June I had a migraine, vomiting and feeling like crap, I thought I had the flu.  About three week later same thing.  Figured sounds like a migraine but never had the vomiting like this.  I figured two times could just be a coincidence, but if it happened again something was definetly wrong.  10 weeks after the second episode it happened again.  I called the doc and have an appointment on Monday but was wondering if anyone else had had this happen while on arimidiex .  Thanks!

I had a very difficult time with Arimidex

    Hi Jennifer,

Nice to see you, however I am very sorry for your reason to stop by.

I had a very difficult time with Arimidex, including vomiting, chils, headache  and awful stomachache . My first 3 months on it was ok, and then every four weeks I was having a similar episod: nausia, vomiting, chills, cramps and and like a crap. when I felt awful I did not take pills for couple days , drunk a lot of water, and symptoms went away. First time I thought I had a food poisoning, then I thought I had a flu. I had to take sick days to deal with it. It is a rare side effect, however you are not alone. Long story short, we switched back to Tamoxifen.

Please talk to your doctor and let us know

    Wishing you the best

Well saw the doc today.  He

Well saw the doc today.  He wants to send me to a neurologist for an evaluation.  Just when I think I'm pretty much done with doctors something new comes up.  Is it from having cancer or just getting old?  Ohwell at least my deductible has been met for this year.  Just the word neurologist sounds expensive.
