Dad coming home Friday

Wanted to update you guys with some good news.  Dad is getting out of rehab on Friday.  He still needs a wheelchair.  But, his walking is getting better.  He can stand really good with his cane.  When he is getting out of the wheelchair he only needs me to guide him. 

He is still using the feeding tube, but doing good.  Thanks for all the advice and support.

    Very glad to hear he is coming home AND doing pretty well too!

    is getting better at walking....everyday should see some improvement.  Does this mean you might not have to put in a ramp?

    great news !

    it will be so much easier to care for Dad if he can walk a bit by himself and get in and out of a chair, bed, etc.

    hoping for continued improvement for him !

    There's no place like home.  I am so happy for your parents !  Your Father is a fighter and a very strong man.  I will continue the positive thoughts and prayers for your family.  Katie
