Me Myself and ER *NEWS*

So I had the xray yesterday.  My primary doctor called and said I need to see the pulmonologist (at the very least).  A new opacity is found in the right side lung as compared to the last xray (in September).  She said it can't be pneumonia because I don't have fever and chills or overall sickly feelings.  Her thoughts were that the pulmonologist get a biopsy or get a new CT scan.

DING ... round 2!  The pain has settled down a bit but is still very present.  I don't want to think .... at all!  I have to go pick up my films and the report and make an appointment.

Other than that, I had a great day with my sister and my dad.  Dad is getting ready to move back to this area.  He is 80 and lives 2 hours away.  The family has been concerned for him because he is aging.   We had lunch and also dinner together.  It was such a great day!

Thanks for always being here for me.

XOXO

Mary

    Thoughts of You

    Mary,

Think positive.  It is possible to have walking pneumonia and doctors do not know everything.  Try not to think about anything till you know if it is anything.  I will make sure to say an extra prayer for you (and Cynthia).  You have dealt with enough and you need a break.  Glad to hear your Dad is moving closer, something else to focus on right now.

    ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))

    We're here for sure

I agree that you need all the facts and am glad you had a great day.  It may be minor, and we shall pray for that diagnosis.  Hugs, Linda

Good thoughts on the way to you Mary

Sometimes it is better not to think, isn't it? Just live in the here and now. A lesson I learned

all through chemo. I can only imagine your pain. I am hoping for the best possible outcome.

And meanwhile sending you truck loads of good vibes,

    Ayse

Mary please get to the bottom of your pain

It is always scary -unexplained pain. I spent Sunday , March 3 in ER too. It has been not fun, however I am glad I did and several scary thoughts were rule out based on CAT scan and ultrasound.

Please be persistant and make an appointment. Pain could come and go away, you need to have peace of mind

    hugs to you

    Appointment

is set for March 21st ... I still have to get my hands on the films and report.  I could've gone in Monday but I need time to get the report.  :(

I am trying my level best NOT to think.  It's just plain scary.  It seems like yesterday that I was on this same road.  What gives??!!  The pain just nags at me all day long.  I've been ridiculously fatigued but haven't really felt sick overall.  Yesterday I went to bed at 3PM.  I did awaken around 7PM but that's because hubby was making some noise.

Praying this will be nothing.  But the pain has to be addressed.  It's maddening.

OK ... I'm done complaining.  Sorry bout that.

    Thank You ALL

I don't know what to think.  SO I won't .... think!  OK ... I'm lying.   I did pull out the last report from September.  I find it interesting that there was a questionable opacity found in the lower right lung that was 1.2cm.  NOW there is a NEW opacity in the right middle lobe.  Not sure if the other opacity is gone or if the report is showing only the NEW opacity because it is NEW.   UGH!!!

I am grateful for this board.  You ladies really give off the most positive vibes and make me smile.  I will just move a long and worry when Thursday gets here.

How's this for a possible nasty twist >>>>  I am starting a part time job on Tuesday!   Can you imagine being told some bad news 2 days after you start?   Well, that's not gonna happen. I want to be out there working again and this crap is not going to stop me!   Hopefully, it's something will respond to antibiotics.   I can't imagine it being anything else.   Just an infection.  Right???

    Cool
