Going back for more

Tomorrow I am getting my next chemo. 3 weeks passed and I cannot imagine how so many things happened...losing my hair was the hardest but it happened and nothing could be done than to move on...all these will pass and hair will grow again. Sometime I cry in the shower when I automatically grab my shampoo and conditioner...but it gets better. I know there are lots of things and issues I still have to tackle , my sched is still full but with the grace and guidance of our Lord, slowly getting there. I pray that He will sustain and strengthen this energy and focus that I have now, and grant me the will to fight and be a survivor.

Hoping #2 goes well and is less eventful than #1. How are you feeling physically now three weeks out?

You sound like you are handling it fairly well, all things considered.

All the best to you for round two

Eleanor. I will be thinking of you and praying for you tomorrow. You put it so eloquently and perfectly about the Lord sustaining you. You know I am just a couple of weeks behind you so you are my motivation to hang in there. keep me posted.

    Dear Eleanor
You sound like a person who knows how to get through the hard stuff--rely on God--he will not let you down. My mantra became, "Let go, Let God" and I've gotten through some pretty rough stuff over the past 3 years and you will too.

Prayers and positive energy going out to you as you continue this journey to wellness.

    Hugs, Renee

    Keep holding His hand
Eleanor, you are doing a wonderful job of facing the challenges chemo can bring. I sang a song to myself that my father taught me when I was a little girl every time I felt the load starting to come down on me, "My Lord knows the way through the wilderness, all I have to do is follow." Praying for you as you walk through this wilderness.
