Hi All, I keep posting because you are all such a wealth of information. Hope I don't wear out my welcome. The Doc started me on this med last Friday because I have fluid building up in my abdominal cavity due to peritoneal mets. I searched the internet and see that fatigue is a side effect. I have been really tired these last few days. If anyone has had experience with this drug, what were your side effect. |

Hmmm
Have not seen much improvement with aldactone so far...50 or 100 mg?

50mg And it did seem to work
50mg
And it did seem to work within 24 hours. I have no pressure in my abdominal area since I started taking it but man oh man am I tired. Of course the fatigue could be from the clinical trial drug that I'm on. That's the think though, don't know if I got the real thing or the placebo. Not sure if it's the aldactone or the trial chemo. Ah the life of a survivor, ain't it grand. Thanks!
