Transfusion today....

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Yesterday I had another CBC, and along with the Thrush, and the mouth sores...I'm more than a little anemic too...ain't this been just a crap week for so many on here!!

Anyway, I'm hoping I wake up tomorrow feeling much better....less tired and more able to cope with this darn mouth of mine...

PS...on top of feeling so punk all week, the icing on the cake was the pump for our well died....95 degrees, no water for two days, except for water cans from filling up at the neighbors....Goodness...pumps are sure expensive, aren't they????

    Hey girl, sorry you are having such a hard time...unfortunately (or fortunately), I guess...at least you were somewhat fore warned the back-end was worse.

    I'm sure you'll start turning around shortly, and at least the good thing is that it sounds like you have good MD's that take care of you.

    We used to have a pump a long time ago...

    Darn aunts would always collect around the starting contacts, killing the pump from starting.

    We's have to go out and spray contact cleaner on the points, open the gap and clean it well....

    Not sure of that pump motor, but I know the new high efficiency two stage pool pumps are pricey.

    Sorry to hear life is piling on the challenges right now! Hopefully you can get the new pump installed on Monday?

    Hang in there! You'll be past the second round of chemo and on the mend soon. :-)

    do not know much about pumps I think my Grandfather had one out by the side of his house, but then they got tap water, tasted terrible is all i remember. I hope your thrush and mouth issues resolve soon to. You posted to my milk post so as usually you are helping others while dealing with the same or worse. Any chance you could pay a little extra and get a double pump that does both water and milk. I guess the cows may not go for it. LOL

    So sorry to hear about all the problems you are having.....it totally sucks. Hope you get to feeling better real soon, you've certainly paid your dues and deserve to be on the other side of this recovery business.

    Transfusion should help you to feel better. Stay strong my friend.

    Not to mention having a wet cell phone to deal with. Hate when that happens.
