Question

Dad had a CT scan two weeks ago and everything looked great. The doctor could not feel anything when he felt his neck. Then this morning he woke up and the area under his ear where the cancer was in his lympe node was slightly swollen. He says it does not hurt and you can barely tell. Mom said the other day that his face was a little swollen and then went down. He did not have a neck dessection. My question is this a sign the cancer has came back so quickly for could it me a mild case of fluid in that area.

Let me know what you think. His doctor is not in the office for the next two weeks.

    Thanks
I was thinking that myself. Do you know if the hot weather can make it worse? Dad was out in the heat the other day, it seemed like this happened last summer.

    ENT
Like Pat mentioned, I would be highly inclined to believe it's not cancer related.

Whenever you have any doubts or concerns, you should always be able to check in with your ENT as a confidense booster if nothing else.
