Some good reading for anyone interested in Homeopathy and natural treatment.

Luc Montagnier, Nobel Prize Winner, Takes Homeopathy Seriously

Dr. Luc Montagnier, the French virologist who won the Nobel Prize in 2008 for discovering the AIDS virus, has surprised the scientific community with his strong support for homeopathic medicine.

    alternative....
    Tim,
I have been doing some investigative work on this too. I know friends that are very into this and use it on a daily basis. But when I approach them with the C-word...lol, I always get "we'll get back to you on that one". Haven't really found anything new, but I do now know that most of these are for small issues, or as far as cancer prevention....needing to be used or ate (food) for years. I am definatly not knocking alternative meds., or foods ! I do believe in them ! Just frustrated with people ....and not you, that make claims that turn out to be empty hope. I try to eat healthy, and have all of my life....thought I gave myself cancer...I'm a smoker....not the case. ACC has no specific cause. I'm battling this smoking demon on a daily basis, but man...if I have little time left....I'm gonna smoke ! Need more info., know it's never good to smoke ! So please no lectures people ! Thank you for this post and will look into it ! Katie

I KNOW Homeopathy and natural treatments
work for so many things....I don't even see it as "alternative", but in many things it's the gentler way to the same end...healing....and have used it for my animals without hesitation. My mom grew up on a ranch, and had SO much knowledge of treatments for common things....she actually saved my foal from viral scours that had a mortality rate of nearly 100%.

I'm too chicken to do it with cancer, tho...does that make me a hypocrite? I don't think so, just under educated.

    Very Good.
Very good article Hondo, as many of you know I'm in to alternative products and
yes there are a lot of hocus pocus "cures" out there so you have to be careful. Also
there are thousands of studies on alternative products but not in the USA as this is
regulated by the FDA who say that these so called alternatives do not work ( Because
they would loose Billions$$$$) yet they have been proven to "help"(you cannot use the
word cure unless it has gone through a double blind random study and the FDA approves
it) thousands of people worldwide. There are Cancer protocols to do if you are "terminal"
but most say if time is on your side then it is a must to "build the immune system" first.
It is the bodys first line of defence, and the product that I take does just that. It is not a
vitamin, herb or mineral it is a molocule that programs your own immune system to,
respond, react and remember different ailements in the body. There was an article in
the Wall Street Journal last week linking cancer to a compromised immune system, I'm
fortunate my wife has been with this company for years and has one of, if not the best
product out there today. I'm not trying to solicite anybody but I make a disclaimer that she
sells it, I just want everyone in the world to take it for there own benefit because ordinary
day life, work, stress, food, drink, drugs ,attitude and the air we breath lowers the immune
system and without that you have nothing.

    God bless
    Tonsil dad,

    Dan.

    Definately not !
I'm baffled on this issue, and have been hit from so many people (including international) that I don't know what to try...so no your not a hypocrite. It is hard to weed through, and what works for one might not work for another. I do truely believe that if our inmune system was working properly...it could be the link. But sometimes our imune system attacks our own body. I sure would like to investigate this more ! Thank you all for the input ! Something to ponder. Katie

    From Montagnier's Wikipedia
From Montagnier's Wikipedia article: 'In 2009, Montagnier published two controversial research studies [...] in a new journal of which he is chairman of the editorial board.'

Publishing research in your own journal is a big no no. And if you read on of those papers you'll see why no one else wants to publish them.

Don't be fooled by Montagnier's "rank". For every senile Nobel laureate embarassing himself you can find 99 Nobel laureates who endorse ordinary science. Unfortunately, media coverage tends to favor wild claims because they sell more that repeating well-established facts.

In a few hours I'm going to have surgery to get my brachytherapy implants. I'll stay in the hospital for the whole week. And no, I'm not bitter because of it. :)
