My husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 he has been through radiation and chemo for the last 3 years . The Dr. Reminded us that he told us the cancer would not be cured the chemo on would give him time. He is on the last chemo there is for him and we were told it is only to try for a little more time but don't think it would work. He had blood work today and I noticed that his RBC is abnormal never noticed this before dose anyone know what is going on now so I will know what to expect . Please

I don't come here often any more, and I when I do I mainly lurk. I found two posts today that I just had to respond. Buying time is what my husband did for 6 years before his death from colon cancer. We were very blessed. In the end, when there was nothing more to do, we called in hospice. They were very helpful. Ask you dr any questions you might have. The change in RBC could possibly be caused by the chemo. Actually, we got our best info from our oncology nurses. Ask which ever you find the easiest to talk with. My thoughts are with you. Take care, Fay
