I don't know what that is.
I don't know what that is. Is that something else we have to worry about?? I have heard of people having fluid in the lungs. Does anyone on here know what she's talking about? I mean Tesas ( sorry). I haven't been on here in ages and now here about something called plueral...
I've not been doing to well. Went through chemo and it's not having the effect the doctors had hoped for. Most days I'm sick and depressed.

    Sorry
So sorry you are having to go through something else with your mom. Is it fluid buildup? Hopefully they can drain it. My nephew was in the hospital in December, never really got a dx, but had a lot of fluid, it got drainned, I believe twice, he was released and had been fine. Hopefully doctors can give you more information, don't be afraid to ask.

    Hi Tesa
You actually now have two separate posts going with the same topic, so its hard to know which to respond to:) It makes it easier if you keep the same post running. As you didn't answer down below, maybe you missed our brief replys.

The doctors need to figure this out, soon. This is not related in a casual fashion to radiation. It is caused by some other medical problem. The most common of the things that can do this is heart failure, though there are other causes as well.

I think there must be more to this than you've posted. If its even known she has fluid around the lungs, she's had, at a minimum, a chest x ray. And likely other studies as well. What did the doctors say after these tests?????
