Is poor balance a symptom a side effect of end stage cancer? I've been on steady on my feet today!

    Poor Balance
If you are still doing chemo it can be a sign of dehydration and you need to get the the hospital. Early on, I didn't pay enough attention to this symptom and let things get out of hand. At any rate, you need to contact the doctor.

    FACTORS ARE PLENTY
don't write off simple PAIN MANAGEMENT drugs!
I take Oxycontin and Oxycodone and both can make me wobbly and unsteady on my feat, even bumping into walls, with the very same dose and JUST pain under control without any real euphoria, depending on what you have eaten and how your metabolism is going, it could be that simple, but DO NOT overlook what was mentioned before FIRST with the dehydration and other issues first, as they are far more serious, and just as easily treatable.

Let us know what you find out

    Love,
    Eric

    Poor balance!
Thank both of you! In addition to poor balance, I started vomiting, shortly after arising this AM.

Lora was to go Bible study this AM, she decided to stay home, rather than leaving me alone. I told her to go her Bible study, that I'd be ok. She is not having any of that, she reminded me of last summer, when I had the bleed out. I lost 5 pints of blood, she was to go out that evening, but canceled.

If she had gone out, she said, I would have bled out. I was laying on the bathroom floor, one of the emts. pulled me out of the bathroom as I lay on the rug. Then two of them put me on the gurney and into the ambulance!

The EMTS and the DR. said, "listen to your wife."

    Poor balance!
    Eric,
Thank you, I have a hard time asking for and accepting any help! I guess I'm just too stubborn to accept help!
