I'm still reading but not able to post much. My stomach pain was not gall bladder but disease related. The chemo is rougher than last time at first dx in 09. I got through that much easier. I'm still worried about the future with the liver mets. Thanks for posting about me. I spend alot of time in bed, mostly dizzy and shaky from the gemzar and carboplatin chemo. Lost 40 lbs since July which worries me. Trying to eat and drink as much as I can. Then there's the money worries too. Husband is sad and cries often which doesn't help. I leave it in God's hands. I am feeling better the last few days, chemo is wearing off for awhile. Hope to write again soon.

    Hi Laurissa
I thought about you and was glad to see your post. I hope you will feel ok soon. Know that we are all praying for you. I lost 25 lbs. thru this BC journey. I'm trying to gain some of it back. Protien smoothies are helping. I don't get on here as much as I did but know that you and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers.
    Hugs,
    Annette

    Laurissa, everytime I log on
Laurissa, everytime I log on here I look for a post from you and Kari. I'm sorry that the treatments are worse for you this time. I know it's easier said than done, but concentrate on getting your health back and try (as hard as it is) not to worry about the money. Your husband sounds like a doll and I am sure is worried for you, too. I'm here if I can do anything for you, just ask. Take care and I'm sending you love and (((hugs))).

So sorry to hear that treatment is harder this time. Praying that that's because it's doing it's job once and for all for you.

Dear Laurissa -- I think of
Dear Laurissa -- I think of you often (and Kat, and Kari, Marsha, Nancy, MyturnNow...). Every time I see any of you post, it makes me smile and cry too. Ok, feeling emotional this morning. Anyway, just glad to see your post and happy chemo is wearing off. I know how difficult it must be. I will pray for you and your loving husband too.

Please try to eat, try. I know very difficult, but chew on little things here and there. Try sister. It will help you. Not sure if this would help, but maybe your husband can buy this book? http://www.amazon.com/Cancer-Fighting-Kitchen-Nourishing-Big-Flavor-Treatment/dp/1587613441 It helped me when I didn't want to eat. Lost 30 pounds during chemo, and thanks to this book didn't lose more. There are great foods recommendation for each side effect from chemo. If can't take solid foods, this book should help as well:http://www.amazon.com/Big-Book-Juices-Natural-Vitality/dp/1844839737/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1318434565&sr=1-1

Best wishes to you, always in my prayers.

    Wishing
Wishing you and your husband better times soon. I just want you to know I believe in Miracle.Pray for them.I do alot.It got me through many serious illnesses and with that some complications but things starting looking up eventually. It will for you

I know how you feel about weight loss.I've lost only a few lbs since July when they found a tumor.Sure benign but it was the wait for a biopsy. This stressed me to no end.And when this happens we just can't get back on track and our loss of weight is very hard.We need those extra pounds in a time when our immune system is fighting disease.

Thoughts and Prayers to you.Just want you to know that when i read many posts from all of you and what you go through it is so hard. I was Stage 0 and didn't go through alot.Seeing these posts I know what complications can happen and there are many of them. Very upsetting when you have to fight harder. I'm sure your husband worries about the money problems but he is more worried about YOU.

    Thoughts and Prayers

Thank you, Larissa, for checking in with us. I, too, think of you often. Hope you can eat more and not get weaker. And most of all, I hope the chemo does its job and kicks the mets out of the ballpark!

    Laurissa,
Just wanted to join in with a little more pink love and praying that that nasty chemo is doing it's job. My heart aches for your husband, I can't imagine what he must feel to watch you suffer so badly. My prayers and pink energy is going your way dear sister...

Glad you were able to post, hopefully you will be able to do something you enjoy between these chemo's, it always amazes me how some of the smallest things can bring me so much enjoyment these days!

Hope the chemo can get a little easier for you. I know your feeling on the weight loss, part of me is thrilled that I dropped over 30 pounds in a couple of months, but then the other part wonders what it means!

    Hugs and prayers,
    Carol
