T3N1M1A

My mom went into the hospital to do the endoscopic ultrasound and they biopsied 2 lymph nodes. 1 Close 1 Far. The biopsy results will come back Thursday but the odd thing is, the doctor told me she's T3N1M1A. How can he give me this information without the biopsy results coming back? I've gone to the ECA website and it shows that it's a Stage 4 A. With Chemo and Radiation, is it possible to change the status of the T3N1M1A into something less? We're meeting with the oncologist on Friday. I can't even tell how bad this is.

    Thank You
    Thank you Sherri,
I need to stop thinking this cancer is a death sentence and start thinking positive thoughts. I'm being strong in front of my mom but feels like I'm falling apart inside. No juming to conclusions. Will wait til doctor tells me what stage it is.

    As caregivers....
    Heeran,

As caregivers we all feel as though we are falling apart inside while we try to show nothing but strength to our loved ones. It's natural, Heeran. That's why this forum is here for you, why WE are here for you.

Do your best to care for yourself so you can be at your best for your mom when necessary. Shout & curse here when you need it, present a calm and smiling positive daughter to your mother.

    Best wishes for surgical options.
