Nothing unusual here. Just hurt like heck when they yanked the darn thing out. 20 months post here everything in that area seems ok to me. Wishes & Prayers

    I couldn't find a lot of
I couldn't find a lot of info on hernias at the peg tube site. The only thing I could find was a PDF on ventral hernias and it said that it was extremely rare. I could hardly read it on my iPhone, even with my glasses because the print was so tiny. I will give you the link. Maybe you can see if it is something like what you are experiencing.

    Yes but not from PEG
I am 22 months post for SCC BOT. I also hit the big 50 recently so Onco said it would be a good idea to get a colonoscopy. During the consultation for the colonoscopy the surgeon was palpating my abdomen and says, "Hey, do you know you have a belly button hernia?". I told him that whoever read my second PET scan (9 months post I think) put in the report a possible hernia. I'm pretty sure I did it to myself though. Once I started feeling good I was out in the yard overdoing it stacking some fire wood and felt a little pull. Quit and never thought too much about it until the PET report then didn't do anything then. Colonoscopy guy says it is very tiny and if it doesn't bother me not to worry. If I want it taken care of he will gladly fix it. Colonoscopy was a breeze except for the prep the night before and I don't have to have another for 10 years.

    Hernia
My hernia is about the size of a Quarter that is what my regular Doctor said. I think I may have tried to do to much after getting the tube remover. He said I need to get it fixed but right now I need to get more strength back it is in the same place where the tube went in.

    Hernia

i too feel that when peg Was put in it caused a hernia for me. Doctor rammed it in 3times as I yelled at him to stop. Nothing I can do about it now as am going through second round of rads and chemo after total larynectomee. Dr. Ha at customized did surgery and is one of the best in us . Great doctor and did great work along with dr. HeAton who built me a new esophegu. Anyway will have to have hernia fixed after this is done as if I didn't have enough to deal with. Good luck with yours.
