If anyone has experience about alcaline phosphatase during hemoterapy. I have breast cancer and metastases on bones , and I received three hemo, but my alcaline phosfatase is eleveted. It was 160 before hemo , and now is 280. Does that mean that chemotherapy is not working?

    Check with the doctor. It
Check with the doctor. It may mean your liver is working extra hard because of the chemo, or may unrelated. If I am not mistaken it would have to be much higher than that to stop chemo. Again, Check with the Doctor. Mine went up a couple of times then went back down. Be sure to drink lots of water.
