My GP just called and said there is a 9 mm growth in my gallbladder, they cannot tell if it is a stone or a polyp. I asked if polyps are harmful and she said as long as they are not cancerous! UGH! So I have a call in to my surgeon to get this thing out of me and get it tested...GRRRRR gots to hold it together. Off to WW to weigh in will chat later after I have chewed on this for a bit.

RE you are surrounded with love and hugs any way you turn. I pray this is a gall stone. A dear friend of mine was a WW leader for many years and shared that after a substantial weight loss. many of her gals suffered with gall stones and gall bladder attacks. Although unpleasant, I pray that is all it is. Love you sweetest lady. Our circle of Love will enfold you tomorrow nite. Hugs

    I really do believe...
As a former gall bladder owner, I recall all too well the thrill of excitement when they told me "we THINK it's PROBABLY a gall stone but we need to do a BIOPSY." It was a gall stone, I was just fine, and I really do believe that you will be just fine too.

    Love,
    Joe

I will just believe it is gall bladder until proven otherwise! I use to have one, couldn't believe the relief when they took it out! No more pain.

Only prayers and positive thoughts from this end!

    Hi RE,
Wishing you gall stones! Can't believe I just said that :) Prayers and love for you wonderful lady!!!!!!!

    RE,
Hoping that whatever it is, stone or polyp is benign. I remember having my gall bladder removed 9 months after I had uterine cancer and being worried dispite the fact that they were sure it was stones. My surgery was lap and it went beautifully. Surgery on a Friday and back to work on Monday. had to watch lifting etc. because I felt so darn good. I think it was so easy because the hysterectomy was way more involved and it was cancer so I had rads etc. Are they going to remove just the growth or the gall bladder? My prayers are so there with you.

Okay all you praying for gallstoners have made me laugh,I too am praying for them! ;-) Joe, Stef and other former Gall Bladder owners thanks for the support, I will be glad to get rid of it. I am going to ask my surgeon to take the entire Gall Bladder out, why mess around lets just get her done! He knows me well so I hope he will be on board with this. If something is growing in me I want it out yesterday! Odd how much pain 9 mm can cause.

Take care everyone and thanks again for your love and support!

    Gall Bladder
Kinda weird to hope for Gall Stones, but it is what it is..... My daughter had hers out and she was back to work in 5 days so the surgery shouldn't be too bad.

    All the best,

    Yes, take it out!
Gallbladder problems affect more women than men. I had mine taken out years ago.
I'm praying and am hopeful that all is well RE.

    Sending comforting hugs,
