EC stretch complications

in Esophageal Cancer #1
Well, we thought we were going home yesterday . All 3 doctors had signed off on it,blood count looked good, no more bleeding. They gave Rickie an iron shot, and as he was getting dressed to go home he felt nauseated and started wretching and began bleeding again. So much for going home.this continued for about 5 hours. When the GIDoctor finally came last night he said he would scope again in the morning and see what is going on. By this morning his hemoglobin count was down to 8 and blood pressure down to 83/54 so they started him on blood and just took him in for the scope. Would appreciate prayers that everything turns out well. this is so scary for us. He has done so well so far, can't let something like this get us down.

    I am thinking of you both at this time, and can only imagine how frightened and scared you both must be feeling. Remember GOD is with you both, hope you find peace and good news!! I weill be watching for an update!!

    Endoscopy went well
    Doctor said he located the origin of the bleeding, it was at the junction where he had stretched it on Wednesday. He injected it with distiller alcohol saying that it would "sting" it and cause it to swell up and hopefully the vessel will close up. Will have to wait and see. Thank you all for the prayers. I so believe that they have helped us to do so well.

    Scary as this must have been for you, the "fix" sounds pretty minor. Hope it repairs quickly! Your in our thoughts & prayers!

    Oh Cheryl,
    I am so sorry that this happened, but so glad they found the source of the problem. Will pray that all turns out well for your husband.
    I know it's scary but remember Jesus is there beside you.

    God does hear our prayers and gives us comfort as we go through the many problems that show there ugly head. Praying all will be better soon,
