? about hot flashes

What do you ladies take or do for hot flashes? Mine are worse during the night. I wake up with my legs sweating really bad. Does anyone else have their legs sweat? A chemo nurse told me a couple of weeks ago that she sweats all over. If I have one during the day, it's typically my face and neck.

Of course, I'm in MS and it's been 100 plus for several days now. That sure doesn't help any!!

Thanks! Carla

    Hot Flashes/Night Sweats
You have exactly the same symptoms I had. I have been taking Chinese herbs and getting accupuncture, and all of these symptoms are gone. Another member here, Nancy707, takes a supplement, I think it's called Rhodiola, for her symptoms. Hopefully she will check in.

I also have hot flashes and
I also have hot flashes and night sweats. I agree they get worse at night. My doctor put me on an antidepressant because she said it helps and I think it does because I don't get them like used too. I am on generic Zoloft, but I hear Effexor is very common also for hot flashes.

    I'm actually already on
I'm actually already on generic Zoloft for depression. These symptoms aren't severe, but the night sweats are no fun!

    Zoloft
I too was taking Zoloft when I was having symptoms. It is no fun waking up with drenched legs.
