    Things are progressing well. Pete is seeing 20/30 out of his left eye, right eye due to childhood injury is still about 30 % .. not going to get any better. Left eye - Pete's only good eye will be questionable. Peripheral vision in Pete's left lost -- how much is yet to be determined due to healing process still taking place -- and inflammation issue. Pressure is down due to surgery and eye drop --- good news.

    Now we wait until August 2nd and see the Retinal Specialist, again in Torrance - and if inflammation is down, laser surgery will be scheduled to repair detached retna in Pete's left eye. Eye drops being taken 4 x daily to keep infection and inflammation at bay.

    We are hanging in there.

    VickiSam you are in my heart and prayers that all goes well for your hubby. This must be so scary and I know that I am hating it when things are wrong with Den. I am much better at my illnesses than his. It hurts my heart when he is not well. I am sure it is the same with you. So big old hugs and good thoughts beaming your way.

    Great news to an extent I guess. 20/30 vision is pretty darn good. Sending my prayers to get that pressure lowered though. My Mom has glaucoma surgery July 25th, they did the laser on her and it worked for a bit. Now doc will use the scalpel method.
