MRI Guided Laser Ablation

Is anyone familiar with this procedure for Liver Tumors? I found this on the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FLA. website and would love to find someone who had this done and learn more about it.

Hi, They reviewed my husband's records and scans & said he would not be a good candidate for this procedure.
Apparently his tumor is too large for this to be beneficial for him. His tumor is just under 5cm. Maybe you will have better luck.
Thanks for posting. Where was your husband reviewed for this procedure? I just found this on the Mayo Clinic/FLA website. they say it can be done on tumors up to 5cm. My husband's are below that but one is almost 5cm.0
