Cancer and Dreams

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Last night I had a dream about cancer. In my dream I had cancer, but later in my dream it was gone. I also dreamed that my husbands cancer came back in his neck and he needed surgery and wanted a hospital bed for the living room and I told him that was silly getting a hospital bed for just 3 months. We always question our dreams and I am wondering if my dreans are prepairng me for what may come or just random dreams. I guess only time will tell. Still bothersome to say the least..

    I think that you went to bed thinking either conscionsly or unconsionsly about cancer and it rolled over into your dreams. I guess that i am lucky because i never remember my dreams but the last month or so i can not sleep. I lay in bed for hours before i nod off. Good luck with your future and God bless. David

    Dreams

    To me dreams sometime are a part of worrying too much about something, or just our brain with a lot of mixed up emotions about what goes on in our life. Sometimes I watch my Dog sleeping and can see her pars and eyes moving like if she is running. The brain is an amazing computer and is always working doing something like Dreaming.

    Dreams
    I think we can have dreams based on what we see, hear and watch. You watch a scary movie, you may have scary dreams.

    Sometimes our fears or concerns can also play a part in what and how we dream because that is when our bodies are truly at rest (or they are supposed to be) and that is when we let the fears of the day come to the surface.

    I have premonition dreams. I always have, like my mother and her mother before her. My daughter and granddaughters also have them. But we have learned how to separate fact from fiction, fantasy from reality, and we don't worry about it.

    Here's hoping you get restful sleep without the crazy dreams!

    Painful dream
    I dreamed I had a recurrence in my spine that was terribly painful and the surgery to remove the tumor was unsuccessful. It was horrible. I awoke the next morning with the remote control for my TV under my back. I laughed about that one for days.
