Hi! Today was my last day of chemo! 4 rounds of a/c, 4 rounds of taxotere, 4 neulasta shots. My journey started on July 14th, 2010. I found a peasize lump under my left nipple. Got mamo on Oct 14th. DCIS, HR positive, stage 2, Biopsy, then skin concerving mastectomy with immediate silicone implant. 2 lymph nodes were involved. Now Chemos over and I dont go back to see My Onc for two months to start tamoxiphen {SP?} Saw Rad Dr and I go next week. Start 6 weeks of rads on June 20th! Going in to kick The Rads butt too! Thanks to all you beautiful ladies who post on here! I've found your posts more helpful & comforting than any other site! I hope I can be of some help to someone! If I can answer a question, I'd be happy to share my experience with you! Hugs to you all!

    YEAH!!!
I am so happy for you! When I finished my chemo, it was such a relief! I also did rads (35) five days per week for seven weeks. I went shopping after the last rad, and bought myself a "BC Survivor" pink and white pillow...
Best wishes to you! And, CELEBRATE!

    Hugs Renee,
Woohoo... no more chemo, no more chemo, no more chemo...

Your journey runs a similar coarse as mine. I had chemo first, then double mastectomy/tissue expanders. I am currently half way through radiation and will start tamoxifen next month. I will only have my implant exchange surgery left and this nightmare will all be behind me. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer for us dear sister.

Sybil, online I purchased a white woman's t-shirt, pink ribbon with a butterfly and survivor written across the chest. I can't wait to get it. Survivor's we all are.

I love this site... Hugs pink sisters
