Sorry for the short notice, ladies~ I have an appointment with a pulmonary specialist this afternoon and could sure use the company and encouragement!!! The BC which is taking up space in the lining of my lung is causing me such shortness of breath along with this chronic, sounds like a 3 pack a day smoker's cough, that I need to do SOMETHING! My oncologist ( of course) suggested nothing..sort of a too bad for me attitude. Reggie was so furious that he took me to a pharmacy and I did get a pharmacist consult and am now living, it seems on Robitussin. That can't be good either, but I needed some relief! After a breathing test, and speking with the pumonary doc, hopefully he will have some suggestions which can help restore my quality of life! As many of you know, I walk 5-8 miles 3X a week and sign up for ll the 5 and 10Ks which come my way...and being short of breath is hindering me! GRRRRRR! So thanks,sisters!Get on the bus!!!!

    Chen- I on that bus with you!! I hope you get some answers and that you find a way to feel better soon. Ugh! Whats wrong with some of these Dr.s? I am sorry yours is not giving you the answers/solution you need. I will pray you find what you're looking for. Good luck and keep us posted.

    you have my support and it is sounding like the second opinion is really a good idea. I will be with you on the bus and praying that this doctor will have something in his arsenal to make your breathing easier.

    Well couldn't let you take the bus without decorating it for you. It is a real site rolling down the road. I put a wolf's head on the front. Just to chase away all the bad karma. Sorta like they do with those big bull horns. Then I decorated the inside in desert colors. Peaches and teals and such. Then I hung Japanese laterns from the windows. I had to stop after the lanterns, people were beginning to laugh when I drove by.

    The bus is CROWDED with Kindred Spirits today - standing room only, packed to beyond legal capacity!!!

    Really, truly, sincerely HOPING the pulmonary doc will have suggestions/recommendations. And, yep - you know it. Waving my imaginary magic wand westward. :-)

    and sending positive vibes your way to get the help you need pronto! Dear Chen, I am on that bus--even if I have to hang out the window because it's so crowded. Heck--I'll even start the first course of "99 bottles of beer on the wall" even though I can't sing.

    Hey better late then never,
    I saw you guys speed by me while I was waiting out there on curb. Good thing I have those rollerskate shoes on and you didn't see me latch on to the back bumper. Any of those brownies left, these bugs in the teeth don't taste so good.

    just in time. It's afternoon already, but I got on board. I'm sure we'll all pack in the exam/consult room with you, too. The poor pulmonary specialist doesn't stand a chance with all of us. WTF was up with your oncologist? I'll feel much better when this is resolved and hope you get relief really soon.

    but didn't want to be left behind. No time to bake so threw some popcorn in the microwave. Hoping for some relief for you!

    It's just as well
    I was at work this morning and missed the bus because I went ahead and stopped by your oncologist's office and slapped him. I figured you wouldn't want to till you have all your records. Seemed like just the kind of task for me:)

    Let us know about your doctor visit when you have a chance.

    I'm in the car .. waiting for Victoria --- getting a little
    scared as I hear police sirens coming close -- Yikes, motor idling, no Victoria -- it appears that I may have to go in and get her! I have pepper spray and may have to use it on your Oncologist ---

    Not to worry, with my lead foot --- Victoria and I will catch up with the Pink Bus .. soon, we will act as your wing man for the balance of the trip ..

    I am sadden that you are suffering --- hoping you get relief, and quick!

    That oncologist will learn his lesson for sure and never dismiss another patient - and certainly not Chen again.
