Just wanted to stick the Survivors Map up, for newbies and other survivors....

Take a few minutes and find yourself on the map, and especially others that might be close in location to you...

Where in the World Are You

If you need added on the map just let me know.

    Hi John:

    Not sure how to work the map thing (sometimes I'm geographically challenged!; That's why I'm sure Charlie smiled and said Thank God she bought a GPS!) Anyway I'm in Lawrenceville, GA outside of Atlanta. Rowdy and Sammy did well while at my in-laws and Blue is now on top of the entertainment center next to his Daddy. His urn is so cute. It's pewter gray with black pawprints engraved in it and came with a little stand with his name on it! Also, I picked up the pawprint the vet did for me so it's up there too! Hope all is well with you. If you don't mind send me the directions again about putting pix on here. Yours are so cute of your doggie (once I figured out it was a close up of the dog and not a bear!) and I thought I'd post some of my babies. Thanks and take care!

    Glad you are doing well, everything is going good with me as well. A few upcoming blood tests and a scope are in the near future. But those are pretty routine these days.

    Mainly just keeping an eye on the thyroid.

    Actually that was brought up when I originally made the map...there seems to be a big gap in the Western Mid-West of very few members...not sure why though.

    Power of the internet.....

    Just think how lucky that we all are though to have not only the knowledge and technology of modern medicine. But to also have this electronic media and format that allows us all to be connected via the forum and email...., not to mention Face Book for my friends there....

    It wasn't that along ago, that people going through what we are and have didn't have much more than snail mail, telephone and local support groups.

    You're only a few clicks away at any given time these days.

    Hi John! Don't know how to work the map but I'm about 15 miles south of Wilmington NC in a little no stoplight town called Winnabow. Still close enough to the beach.

    Thank you for your advice, Doc did prescribe mother's little helpers for sleep. Today is my 35th and LAST rad treatment!!! The folks at NHRMC Zimmer Cancer Center are the BEST!

    My thoughts are with all of you, all of US.
