Stage 3c, BRCA2 postive and liver metaste

I was diagnosed Dec 17/2009, stage 3c, and had the usual surgery dec 31. 6 chemo tratments of carboplatin and taxol. I responded well to these treatments and CA125 levels came down to 6, last treatment May, 2010. November, 2010, 6 months later the level was 8. They didn't do a CA125 test at the 9 month checkup. Genetic testing has shown that I have the BRCA2 gene. An ultrasound to check on a pseodcyst on my pancreas in March/11 showed something on my liver and a later CT scan is showing multipe modules on the liver and spleen. I have an appointment at the Cancer clinic May 2nd. Is there anyone who has experienced a liver and spleen metaste who is also stage 3c and BRCA2 postive?

    stage 3c
I was just diagonsed Feb 28, 2011 with ovarian 3c with metaste to my liver, diaphram, small intestines, colon and rectum. I am currently undergoing chemo once every three weeks with carbo/taxol and my gyn ocologist said what they saw on my liver and diaphram they couldn't remove because it looked like some poored sand on it, very small particles and that the chemo should kill it. I haven't gone for genetic testing I am sort of nervous to do it.

I was diagnosed 3C in May 2006 and 3 years later recurred with similar results that you are speaking of. I have not been tested for the BRCA2 gene. I also could not recieve good results with more surgery. I've been undergoing chemo now for the past 15 months and have been able to retain an even CA-125 ( not in normal range, but not too bad and steady ). I feel very well when it's not one of those "chemo days". I'm so sorry that you have to go through all of this and if I can help in any way, I'm here.
