NED!

Had a CAT-scan yesterday. Results came back today. The Med-Onc did not use the term "NED", but said I'm "all clear". No evidence of the cancer at the primary BOT site, and the neck mass is gone.

It is now a little more than two months since my last treatment. The last radiation was Feb. 7 and last chemo was Jan. 25.

Still have sry mouth and serious taste issues. Everything tastes bad to horrible. I am able to drink the Isosource liquid, so I'm having the feeding tube taken out next week. I'm eating a small meal every day. Trying different things to see what I can get down.

I guess I'm on my way. I just wish everyone here could receive good news like I did.

Dale

Happy to hear the NED news Dale.

You will get much better in 2 mOnths eating wise.

When you can, try to focus on the good foods and anti cancer diet.

Makes good sense ESP for the first few years.

Dale, great to hear. The dry mouth and taste issues will slowly improve with time. Yes you're on the way... Then again, I've been saying the same thing most of my life and I still haven't gotten there yet! Cheers

    G-Tube GONE!
Had a follow-up visit with the ENT doc yesterday. Everything is looking good. He removed the G-tube. Glad that thing is gone. Slowly getting back to my normal activities.
