Chest pain/pressure, years after treatment...

Options
Does anyone out there still continue to have pain well after treatment done. I finished my 6 cycles of chemo for primary mediastinal large b cell lymphoma in May of 2006. I have been in remission since. Yet I still have chest pressure/pain of which no one can find an answer for (which is what brought me to the doctor in the first place before diagnosis). I had a recent scan, and mnay cardiac work ups done, all of which have come back clean and normal. This of course is good news, but would like to find something to help with my issue!

    Too soon for me...
    Hi,
I finished my chemo-CVP-R as of Dec 14th/2010, so it's too soon for me to say. I'm doing Rituxan maint for the next 2 years and have read heart issues are possible after extended use, but will have to wait and see if it happens or not. I do still experience shortness of breath and low energy since treatment. Hopefully others with long term remission will have some feedback for you. I'm sorry you are still having issues.
    Best wishes...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

    Chest pain
I developed A-Fib years after doing treatment.Keep telling my drs.my heart would flutter and I was getting dizzy.Took wearing a heart monitor to find it as it was at the weirdest time.Had discomfort with enlarged nodes in the chest around heart. The adriymicin in Chop is not heart friendly.Hope you can get to the bottom of this.Michele

    Chest Pain
I was just reading your posts, and can identify. I wore a halter monitor just three weeks ago because I was having fluttering and still have it. They found it on the monitor.
I take medicine for it. I had this before treatment but not as seriously.
But I have been noticing it more. So I dont know if it is more noticable.
I know it is so hard to put up with.

    pressure
Hi, I can really relate to what your going through, I have been out of treatment and in remission for about six months now. I have dizziness, and chest pressure, along with shortness of breath. All of the symptoms before I was diagnosis. I had a stress test, Muga scan all seems to be find. Its very frustrating to say the least. I'm always thinking the cancer is back! Maybe it's the drugs, who knows, I guess we need to trust our doctors and keep our monthly check ups going.... good luck Vinny
