PET/CT Today!

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Hey folks; hope all is well. Getting 2nd Pet/ct post treatment today. This will be a year out from diagnosis. Just wanted a few prayers and thoughts in my corner! Won't get results till next Monday so will be a long week to say the least!! Thanks!!

    The Test
    Good luck, Charles. I am hoping and praying that your test will come back negative. I know how hard it is to wait for the results and I will be waiting with you as I have a full body MRI scheduled for this Thursday and I doubt if I will hear anything before Monday or Tuesday. So, let's all think pleasant thoughts and try not to worry about this thing.

    Trifecta with a Bonus, Please
    Looks like I'm in good company with Charles Monday, me Tuesday,Chuck Wednesday and Roger Thursday. Hoping to finally get a clean scan - hope we all get good news. Sorry at least two of you have to wait so long - I should have results Thursday. Any takers for scans on Friday?

    Long Week Indeed
    Hope reports are positively negative - you know what I mean. I have my CT and PET (year after chemorads) tomorrow. Hope you've got lots of good stuff to occupy your mind til Monday.

    That's interesting to hear. Had my 2-year at 11AM this morning, complete with cramping in my right shoulder for the entire scan. That's life, I reckon. For me, unless I get a call, I don't hear of my results for 10 days. What is it about early-April and H&N? Be cool if we all come back CLEAN in this little Club we fell into.

    Best of luck on your scan result's! I am sceduled for a Cat scan tomorrow. Then my wait for result's will be two week's. If only I could drink!

    But you already know that buddy....

    You can request a desk copy and get your results within a day or so usually (at the place that does the PET/CT)...report and CD...something you may or maynot want to know.

    I can't stand the wait, and do it...so far it's always been good as yours will be my friend.

    I wish it was that easy here. Probably could get the results early yes! But no explanation if needed before two week's. Very different here!

    So many scans...
    Will be praying for everyone who is having their scans this week. Anxiously waiting for all of you to post an "All Clear" or NED. What a celebration that will be!!!
