Three Year Cancaversary

Three years ago today I started my journey as a bc survivor. Surgery was done on this date, and I use it as my survivorship date. It has been a long journey, filled with many ups and downs, but I am still here. We are celebrating this day as a victory, albeit somewhat apprehensive about the next years ahead. Always with a smile, and hopefully with a helping hand to help those who are following in my footsteps, I send you all greetings and hope you celebrate with me. One day at a time......one day at a time. Hugs, Judy

that is great news. 3 years is a long time but not as long as when you are celebrating 10 or 15 years.

IF / when you mention for ex: today is 3 yrs since surgery...for those who have never gone through it dont' think much about it...

I mentioned even to my hubby yesterday...3 yrs ago today surgery...and he said YEAH...I think at times he is just out of the loop or in denial group...like it was any surgery not cancer related...DONT" get me wrong...he cares..just we can all RELATE!

    Congratulations. Your post
Congratulations. Your post gives me hope that I too can make it 3, 5, 10, 20 years. It will be a year for me on May 12th. I'm still worried that my journey is far from over. Hope you have a wonderful celebration. I'm taking your advice One day at a time.
