    What a Blog
I'm so sorry to hear this, but maybe now some things in MSKCC's process will change....I LOVE our doctors at MSKCC but their process...omg... The wait times, for everything...the number of times in my mother's trial, they didn't have the right blood tubes.....I don't know what we would have done without Justin....Again, the doctors are AMAZING>>>but I think they are overloaded...I hope his wife is ok...but it is true, he'll see the hospital in a completely different way...I hope he doesn't have to have his wife admitted to the hospital and she has to go through that ER...he'll be horrified...

    ER
I was processed through their ER twice. Once I was admitted, once not. Yeah, it was something to remember.

    Sorry and Good Luck Tomorrow!!
Yeah, I'll never forget it...we nicknamed it the pit...what was really frustrating was that her doctor wanted her admitted, but couldn't just do it, we were forced through the "pit"...we all started to cry...Mom was admitted both times.....Anyway, I am thinking about you tonight!! Good luck on your scan tomorrow.....I hope your news is as good as Linda"s!!

I was appalled by all the snarky comments. My God, the man's wife has Cancer.....and they want to nail him to the wall for mentioning that his wife "got right in" to see the doctor? Really? Who hasn't called in a favor or two, now and then? I called my dentist at 7 o'clock on a Friday night, because I could. I broke a tooth, I had his cell phone number. So sue me.

    People are jerks.

Cancer is an equal opportunity disease
I really feel for that doctor, his wife and that whole family--I can only imagine that everyone is expecting him to be the big expert and pull a miracle out of his hat for his wife when in reality, he is recovering from the shock and imagining all the worst case possibilities that MIGHT happen.

Sometimes it is better not to know so much.
