1 Year Anniversary On This Board

One year has past since I joined this board. I joined January 14, 2010 (my birthday). It is amazing how fast time travels. Last year in January I finished my radiation treatment for the recurrence. I was on a campaign to find sisters who had breast cancer. I found this board in January and in February 2010, I found two breast support groups in my area, both about 40 minutes away from my town. I have gained much knowledge from all my sisters and I have shared that knowledge.

I applaud all of you for your strength courage, humor, and sensitivity. I had one flesh and blood sister who died from lung cancer (13 years ago). I had no other sisters or brothers until I found you. I do feel a strong sisterhood on this board.

I want to send you LOTS OF LOVE and LOTS OF HUGS and may 2011 be a better year for all of us.

    I'm glad to have found this board too. I found it in Sept 09 soon after my dx while I was searching for my "chances". I am stage 4 with bone met and doing well. All we can do is a day at a time. This board is a part of my life now. Hugs back at ya.

    Janelle, what touching words that you consider us your sisters! I count all of you as my family too, sisters in pink forever! A bond sealed with glue!!! lol

    I am still very sorry that you ever had to find us, but, very happy that you are here. You offer so much to all of us, whether it be a newbie or an oldie.
