Playoff games have started .. so I am unplugging for a day, and will return .. tomorrow.

C.C. .. hate having to watch the playoff's with my brother in law, Eli and my inlaws === Ma and Pa Manning .. hehehehehe

    I am not a football fan, but my daughter and I caught the last minute of the Steeler's vs. Raven's game. My doctor is a HUGE FAN of the STEELERS. I am glad her team won.

    My Choice -- Bears for my son, and Seahawks for Cypress
    Cynthia -- so I am twisted on who I want to win .. so I am undecided on today's first game -- late game with the Patriots against the Jets .. no brainer, Tom Brady. Tom has had to fight.. fight .. fight the past 2 years .. secondary squad sucked, lost many receivers -- and Teddy Bruschi. So I am on board due to the restructuring of the team, many old timers mixed in with many newbies.

    Jets .. have a good chance if they can stop the rush of Patriots defense. Rex Ryan is an odd and in my opinion "shady character" -- whether he's sucking his wifes toes via utube, or going on national television .. shouting out hatred for Peyton Manning -- in an effort of getting into his head, which of course worked last week.

    Very impressed with the Green Bay Packers ... the whole entire package -- Rogers, Clay Matthews, AJ Hawk .. I was so impressed by last night's game. I really thought the Falcon's 13 and 3 had a chance to make it to the next level of playoffs.

    I've always been a fan of UCLA myself, so I do have a bit of a hard time rooting for a team coached by the former USC coach, so I'm going Bears, with due respect to CC.

    I kind of agree with your assessment of the Jets-Pats matchup and will be very surprised in the Jets win this one, but then that's why they play the games!

    I will miss the first game because I'm going to a baby shower today, but I'm very happy to be celebrating a new life and being with my family today (my cousin's wife is expecting their first - a girl).

    Getting back to Normal .. Cindy, working, going to school
    and attending family functions. That's what it all about. Besides you get that opportunity to go to Oregon and re-group and de-stress. Hoping I can move things around so I can make it next week-end's get together.

    Chicagoland is going nuts waiting around for Sunday to arrive! Bears vs. Packers! Doesn't get any better than that! I'm just really nervous about it! Ya never know which Bears team is gonna show up! Let's hope it's the "good" ones! The Packers look dang good!!

    If Bears beat 'em and go to the Super Bowl, I'm gonna be SO freakin' happy!! :)

    yes .. I normally have lots of 'secret' money -- on each game
    as well as having about 18 friends and family members -- in and out of our home -- for the day. Food galore, drinks, desserts -- good times!

    Missed out on the festivites last year due to fatigue and my recovery from my bilateral mastectomy ... ohhh the memories!

    the most i've won on 1 pool has been $450.00 on a $50.00 investment, otherwise I am pretty even steven.
