Yesterday was cause for celebration. Buzz received his last chemo and radiation treatments yesterday!!!!! It has been nearly 4 months although it seems like 6. When we started, I wondered if we could get through the treatment but reading posts on this forum gave me the confidence to soldier on. Buzz is 100% tube fed so the road to oral feeding will be long. Amazingly, he did not lose any weight so that should be an advantage in his recovery. Thank you to all of you who answered my questions and gave me much needed support!

    Rock the house!
That is awesome news to read! Way to go to both of you. Hanging in and finishing is tough work but well worth it. Now relax and rest and recover. Lots of good sleep and good feedings and good light exercise will help speed up recovery. Nice teamwork!

Always good to be done with treatment. I hope he continues to do well and can eat again soon.

    Wonderful
I am glad to hear that he has completed this phase. The first couple of weeks will be rough, but it will get better. Please know we are still here for you.
